Our client in Clapton, East London, was looking for a bespoke carpentry solution that would provide ample storage while respecting the charm of their traditional London home. She envisioned something timeless, functional, and beautifully in tune with the room’s original features.
Bespoke Twin Alcove Units with Shaker Doors and Floating Shelves
We designed and built twin alcove base cabinets with adjustable shelving and classic shaker-style doors, finished to blend effortlessly with the home’s period features. Above, we installed floating shelves on both sides of the chimney breast, providing a clean and open feel while maximising vertical space.
This approach allowed us to maintain a light, uncluttered look without sacrificing storage. Every element was hand-finished to suit the character of the property, resulting in a cohesive and beautifully balanced space.
